Wha

I'm just going to post here until I'm not lazy anymore.
Draw everyday. Commute, work, homework, draw.

I'm starting to become more comfortable using painter. I absolutely love the acrylic and oil brushes that offer the same spontaneity as real paint. There's so many things I need to improve, but I feel rather optimistic as long as I keep working.

First time in a long time trying painter again. :)
Second time.

shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit

Before the new site/blog, WHAT THE FUCKK. Those fucking frequent hiatus, made my skill dilapidated, that is I DIDNT FUCKING IMPROVE...even though I've been drawing for the two weeks (minus this week) constantly for 3-4 hrs a day.....oh wait...SDFHDHSDGKHGD
Evidence: (a four month difference)

Today:

Maybe it's because I haven't been drawing digitally (I've been filling copious pages of faces, n00ds, etc. those layered, drawn-over figures are in asphyxiation). The only thing that has improved is speed and confidence in my lines. I can draw like a quick motherfucker now.

painter

Painter > Photoshop
For me, it's a lot easier to blend, great default brushes (I'm lazy), ane it feels more like painting. I always get a really muddy result from ps and I have to really use saturated colors to rectify it. In painter, I don't get that result. Well, it is called painter, and I'll start using it a lot more. (but I still love using ps for doing linework and for smooth painting)

lolpz

I'm back; but not for long. I'll make a huge update (new site, ditching this crap, etc) at the end of August. Hopefully, even after the frequent hiatuses, I'll get 9x better. Probably not, but I'm still going to sketch like a mad man after....

Gez Fry is my fucking hero. With no prior experience in art (or at least in drawing/painting), he "locked" himself in his room for two years, drawing and studying from M. Shirow (ghost in the shell)--all self taught. He has my utmost respect. =0
